Hi. I’m Oleg. I am from Chelyabinsk (The Meteorite City), Russia. I’m a fiction and nonfiction writer, translator, teacher, lifelong learner and restless soul.

Fourteen years ago I used to write fiction in English. Writing was merely my therapy, and I didn’t know where to go with it. So I quit writing to pursue my dream – working as an interpreter and translator. But after the recession hit in 2008 I lost my dream job and had to take any job to support my family. I wound up teaching kids German. Which was not enough for me.

Three years ago, I started writing again. For me it was a therapy first. Gradually, it became my hobby. I really liked doing it. I tried to do it every day, and my hobby developed into a habit. Over the course of three years, it has become my passion. My next level is turning writing into profession.
